A 21-year-old man accused of the body-in-a-suitcase murder of a teenage girl is due to stand trial today at Maidstone Crown Court.

Philip Bell, unemployed, of no fixed address, has denied killing 17-year-old Terry Edmonds, of Hadlow, near Tonbridge.

Terry disappeared after getting off a train at Tunbridge Wells railway station on April 17 last year. Her body was later found in a suitcase in a car park close to Morrison's supermarket in the centre of the town.
