Did you see car crash on A21 near Lamberhurst?

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses who saw a car crash into a telegraph pole.

The accident happened on the A21 near Lamberburst at 8.20pm last night (Saturday).

A police spokesman said: "The incident happened between the villages of Flimwell and Kilndown.

"We attended to help South East Coast Ambulance Service after a white Ford Fiesta collided with a telegraph pole.

"No serious injuries were reported but officers are carrying out enquiries to establish if any criminal offences may have been committed."

Stefan Crocker, 27, a passenger in the vehicle, has since been arrested and charged with "dangerously interfering with a travelling motor vehicle."

Crocker, of no fixed address, was bailed by Medway magistrates’ court to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday September 16.
