Police appeal for witnesses following e-scooter crash in Eastlands Road, near Waterdown Road, Tunbridge Wells

An e-scooter rider is in a London hospital in a serious condition after a crash.

The woman, in her 40s, sustained a head injury after falling off in Eastlands Road near its junction with Waterdown Road in Tunbridge Wells.

She remains in a serious condition in a London hospital.

Police and paramedics were called at around 7.45pm yesterday (February 16).

It is not believed another vehicle was involved, however, inquiries are ongoing.

Investigators are urging any witnesses who saw the e-scooter in the moments leading up to the incident to come forward.

Drivers with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage. It can be uploaded online here.
