A former pub building is going up for auction for the second time – but for nearly half the previous guide price.
The Grade-II listed property near Tunbridge Wells, previously occupied by Indian restaurant Imli, will be going under the hammer next month.
The freehold of the Tudor-style former public house is being offered with a guide price of £500,000.
But, in December 2022, the building was up for auction with a guide price of £900,000.
The property is currently vacant and is on the west side of London Road in Southborough.
It has onsite parking and a large outdoor seating area.
John Mehtab of Acuitus, which is holding the auction, said: “The property is something of a landmark in this affluent residential district and has strong development potential.”
The action will be taking place at 1pm on May 9.
It will be broadcast via livestream on the Acuitus website with bidding online, by telephone and by proxy.
