A great-grandfather of nine is one of three people to win £30,000.
Frank Cornell recently turned 84 and then discovered he'd won the sum with two of his Tunbridge Wells neighbours on the People's Postcode Lottery.
Speaking after the win the Kibbles Lane pensioner said: "What a birthday present, although I'll expect a cheque for every birthday now.
"We’ll have a nice holiday and then treat our family, we’ll make it stretch out among the grand-children and great-grandchildren.
“It’s also lovely to win alongside our neighbours and friends.”
Julia Bradford, 75, also won, she said: "We’re delighted that our neighbours have won too, especially this amount.
"We would never have dreamt that we’d win something like this.
"I can’t quite believe it, we were expecting something around £1,000. We’ll treat ourselves to an extra special holiday."
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales go directly to charities.
In this case, £10,000 is being donated to Grove Park Charitable Trust, the fundraising arm of a special needs school based in Crowborough.
The final winner from Kibbles Lane was Patrician Brown, who has been playing the People's Postcode Lottery for five years.
The 76-year-old said: "I didn’t expect to see a cheque for £30,000.
"I’m over the moon, things like this don’t happen to me.
"I’m going to spend it on my family and maybe take a holiday to Majorca to visit my grandson.”
All three winners were presented with their golden envelopes by People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Jeff Brazier.
He said: "It’s been a Street Prize packed with big cheques and in Frank’s case even bigger families.
"I’m sure his family, grand-children and great-grandchildren will be in for a real treat when they help him spend his prize winnings.
"It’s fantastic to see not only how pleased they are to have won themselves but how excited they are for each other as neighbours and friends.
"Congratulations to our Tunbridge Wells winning trio."
