A man was left with serious head injuries after a row over a parking space.
Police were called to Sainsbury’s Local in St John’s Road, Tunbridge Wells, after a report of a serious assault taking place in the car park at 7.22pm on Sunday (April 27).
It is alleged a man punched another man after a row over a car parking space.
The victim suffered serious head injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
Later the same night, officers arrested a man in connection with the incident.
Troy Firth, of Ellenborough Road in Sidcup, was later charged with grievous bodily harm.
The 32-year-old appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (April 29).
He was remanded in custody pending a further hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on May 27.
