Man ‘threatened staff while stealing mobile phones’ at EE store in Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells

Police are hunting for a man who allegedly threatened staff while prising new phones from display stands at an EE store.

It is reported the devices were stolen from the shop in Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells, at around 2.15pm yesterday (April 21).

The suspect is alleged to have made threats to staff as he used a metal tool to break two phones from separate displays.

He then ran away on foot in the direction of Camden Road and Garden Street.

An investigation is ongoing and initial inquiries have led to the recovery of CCTV of a man that officers would like to identify.
