Tunbridge Wells: Air ambulance scrambled as motorcyclist injured after crash on Langton Road

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Tunbridge Wells.

Police and road ambulance crews were also scrambled to Langton Road just after 7am.

A spokesperson for the air ambulance said: "We were dispatched from Redhill at 8.28am to an RTC incident in Tunbridge Wells. Crews then conveyed a patient to King’s College Hospital in London."

The road was closed between The Green and Ashurst Road for just over two hours but has since reopened.
