Suspected drug dealer arrested in Tunbridge Wells

Police officers who stopped and searched a Vauxhall Corsa in Eridge Road, Tunbridge Wells, found 36 deals of cocaine and a quantity of cash inside.

They arrested the driver Viujan Leka, of no fixed address.

Leka has since been charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, driving without insurance and possession of criminal property, namely the cash seized.

The arrest occurred at around 5.30pm on Monday and Leka, 26, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court the next day where he was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court at a date yet to be confirmed.
