Southeastern rail delays between Battle and Tunbridge Wells to last all day

Rails delays between Battle and Tunbridge Wells are expected to last until the end of the day, Southeastern has confirmed.

Damaged signalling system cables found overnight at Battle are affecting all journeys on the Hastings line.

Southeastern says it is in the process of updating journey planners to show altered services and will put on replacement buses.

Tickets are being accepted on Southern services between Hastings and Ashford, and high speed services between Ashford and London.

Earlier this month the Hastings line saw more disruption when a tree fell onto the tracks.
