Ricky Gervais is coming to Kent this spring ahead of his SuperNature tour.

The Golden Globe-winning performer is doing a number of warm up shows in the southeast in March and April.

He announced on Twitter yesterday he will be visiting Tunbridge Wells, Hastings and Crawley.

Tickets will be released on Friday, with exact venues and dates soon to be confirmed.

Mr Gervais made his claim to fame with mockumentary The Office, which aired on BBC Two in 2001.

He has done a number of live stand-up shows in the past, including Animals, Politics and Humanity.

The SuperNature tour will also be a two episode Netflix special.

Mr Gervais said: "My next tour SuperNature looks at the absurdity of superstition, magic and all unsubstantiated beliefs, and celebrates the conclusion that Nature is already Super enough."
