Suspected drug dealer charged in Tunbridge Wells after stop and search finds cocaine in car

Police in Tunbridge Wells have charged a suspected drug dealer after officers found cocaine in a car during a stop and search.

At around 4.30pm on Saturday, officers pulled over the vehicle they suspected was used in connection with a drug deal in Botany in Tonbridge.

They completed a search where 11 wraps of cocaine, a mobile phone, and a quantity of cash were seized. The driver was arrested.

Aaron Clay, 26, of The Beeches, Tunbridge Wells was later charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and driving without insurance.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
