It will be open from 11am until 8pm Monday to Wednesday, and from 11am to 11pm Thursday to Saturday, and from 10.30am to 6.30pm on Sundays.

The new outlets include Wok and Sushi, The Argentinian Grill and The Fish Grill, with the centre promising to add live comedian and music nights in the coming weeks.

Centre manager Nicky Blanchard said: “The opening of Central Market is part of our wider renovation plans which are about to begin at the centre and another great step in making Royal Victoria Place a thriving destination in Tunbridge Wells.

"This will be the destination for dining, socialising and entertainment.”

The centre's owner, British Land, has already announced it will embark on an £11m renovation of the centre starting this month.
