A 32-year-old man charged with intentionally causing grievous bodily harm has been bailed until Friday, June 13.
Cuneyt Sungu, of Whitegate Close, in Tunbridge Wells, was arrested on Tuesday following an alleged stabbing in the Colebrook Road industrial estate earlier in the day.
He was also charged with possessing a bladed weapon in a public place and appeared before Magistrates yesterday.
Sungu did not enter a plea and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court in two weeks.
Sungu was arrested at Tunbridge Wells Hospital on Tuesday after the alleged assault.
The incident left a 27-year-old man in the same hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
The man is understood to have driven himself to hospital following the incident, which happened at 3.30pm on Tuesday.
