Cranbrook School hosts football match in memory of Joe Atkins and Freddie McLennan

Families and friends have celebrated the lives of two young men who were killed in a crash overseas.

Joe Atkins and Freddie McLennan, both 19, died after a car they were passengers in crashed on the Salar De Uyuni salt flats in Bolivia.

Joe's sister Isla Atkins said: "It was a day that brought friends and family together to watch some football, enjoy the festivities, raise some money for charity and most importantly celebrate two brilliant boys."

Cranbrook School hosted the fundraiser out of respect to its former pupils.

The matches kicked off with a game between charities Football Beyond Borders and Cranbrook charity Sam West Foundation.

Joe and Freddie's friends and family took to the field for a second match.
