Emma Clements and Donna Avery join forces with British Heart Foundation to promote healthy eating at Benenden Hospital, Cranbrook

A duo dressed as Bananaman visited a Cranbrook hospital to promote healthy eating this week.

Emma Clements and Donna Avery, who organised the event, both donned the superhero’s distinctive blue and yellow outfit to launch the campaign at Benenden Hospital.

The week-long project was launched on Monday in association with the British Heart Foundation, with the pair joined by a number of hospital staff in a walk around the site.

Ms Clements said: “The campaign has been a huge success and has raised staff moral. I’m sure what we have achieved will open a few eyes and get people thinking about healthy eating. It is certainly something we are looking to repeat along with other similar projects.”

During the week personal trainers from the Weald Sports Centre visited the site and eight members of staff took part in a healthy eating campaign and pedometer challenge, with nutritious meals offered to all employees.
