A suspect has been charged after two men were left with serious injuries following an assault at a high street pub.
A group of men allegedly attacked two victims at the George and Dragon in Headcorn at around 11.30pm on Thursday, March 6.
The two victims, in their 30s and 50s, were taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries and have since been discharged.
It is reported one was punched and, while on the floor, was stamped on and struck on the head.
On Tuesday, April 1, a 39-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of assault.
He was later bailed to return to the police station, pending further investigation.
Following further inquiries, a second man was arrested on Tuesday, April 9.
Richard Roxburgh of Beech Gardens, Headcorn, has now been charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
The 42-year-old has been remanded to custody pending a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on May 9.
Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and who has not yet spoken to police to contact them.
