A road has been closed following a serious collision this afternoon.

Kent Police was called to Sissinghurst Road, Sissinghurst at 4.47pm after two vehicles collided.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are in attendance.

The road is currently closed in both directions between The Milkhouse Pub in Sissinghurst and The Three Chimneys Pub in Biddenden.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area, with traffic already reportedly building up.
