A key route was shut in both directions following a crash thought to involve three cars.
The A229 Hawkhurst Road was closed in Gill's Green, near Cranbrook, close to Slip Mill Lane following the accident.
Traffic was diverted onto local roads.
It was confirmed the road was reopened shortly before 9pm.
