Two men taken to hospital after assault at George and Dragon pub in Headcorn High Street

Two men were left with serious injuries and taken to hospital after an assault at a high street pub.

A group of men allegedly attacked the pair at the George and Dragon in Headcorn at around 11.30pm on Thursday, March 6.

The two victims, in their 30s and 50s, were taken to hospital and have since been discharged.

Last Tuesday (April 1) a 39-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of assault.

He was bailed to return to the police station, pending further investigation.

Officers are now asking for witnesses of the incident who have not already spoken to police to get in contact.
