Woman rescued after car crash in Cranbrook

A woman was cut from a wreckage by firefighters following a crash in Cranbrook.

It happened at around 5.50pm last night in Goudhurst Road, at the junction of Glassenbury Road.

Two fire crews attended and used cutting equipment to remove a door and the roof of her car in order to free the woman, who was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Her injuries were not life threatening.

No other cars were involved and the road reopened at around 9.30pm.
