The King’s School Presents – Joseph K by Tom Basden.
On his 30th Birthday, successful banker Joseph K commutes home, goes for a run and orders takeaway sushi; only to find that the two men who arrive with his food have already eaten half of it and inform him that he is under arrest. K is thrown into a claustrophobic world of bureaucracy as he attempts to clear his name from a crime he has no knowledge of. This play, inspired by ‘The Trial’ questions whether Kafka’s view of a dystopian future is in fact uncomfortably familiar today. Please note - This performance contains adult themes and some swearing - Recommended Parental Guidance - 12+
