Come and celebrate your creativity or simply try something new in our Mindful Craft Evening.
This December we’ll be hosting an evening gentle community and supportive crafting. Even if you’re not creative then we’ll be on hand to help you. Engaging in creative pursuits can ease stress, relieve tension and even offer some relief from anxiety. We’ll provide you with a warm, welcoming environment for the evening. Plus you’ll have an opportunity to try first hand some crafts that perhaps you haven’t tried before. The Format There will be tables each holding a craft such as embroidery, paper crafts, origami, zentangle or card making. Each table will have a ‘tutor’ or a kind volunteer who has some experience of that particular craft. They’ll be able to show you how to create a simple piece that will take approximately 20 minutes to make.
After twenty minutes we’ll move round to the next table so that you should have a trial of each of the crafts. You could even bring a few of your friends and travel round all the tables together.
