positively NUDE

The positively NUDE art exhibition at the Nucleus Arts Centre in Chatham is Nigel Rudkin’s first solo art exhibition and celebrates the beauty of big beautiful women!
Nigel Rudkin has been painting for about three years but has had his work exhibited in London, Dorset, Kent and Brazil. His stance is firmly body positive, and his nudes are a celebration of the larger woman - Rudkin depicts the joy, beauty and pride of the larger woman in all her glory. His style is impressionistic and he never seeks to flatter his subjects but only to show the beauty of their true form. Rudkin’s watercolours are representations of women who are big, beautiful, and proud and will not be hidden away!

Rudkin hopes to reach some of these women and men with his art and his watercolours celebrate women who are big, beautiful, and proud and will not be hidden away!

Rudkin presents softness and skin tone without ever compromising modesty. The focus is on the woman as the prominent feature of any portrait, and any background is secondary to the beautiful women he has had the privilege of painting.

This is his first solo show, in Kent, first week in January.
