Half Term Events - Birds of Prey

Come and meet Falconer Alex Goodier who will present his incredible birds.
Monkton Nature Reserve, managed by the Thanet Countryside Trust, is situated in an 16 acre abandoned chalk quarry on the Isle of Thanet in East Kent. With innumerable other species of insect, mammal and bird-life, two ponds, bee hives, birds hides, picnic areas and beautiful woodlands, we are also home to the first artificial bat cave to be constructed in the UK.

Come and meet Falconer Alex Goodier who will present his incredible birds, Oca and Ash the barn owls, Fraggle the boobook owl, Zakk the harris hawk, Blaze the kestrel and Odin the puzzle solving raven.

Booking is not required. Admission fee includes access to the reserve, museums and bookshop for the day. Guests are welcome to spend the day, we open at 10am and close at 5pm. We have a cafe on site but guests are welcome to bring a picnic. No dogs allowed
