Free WWI Tea Dance

WWI Tea Dance to celebrate and promote the official launch of our National Lottery Heritage Funded Digitizing The War Illustrated project.
The WWI themed Tea Dance launch will include interesting talks about this project which is centred on an important WWI magazine. You will hear from the organisers as well as participants. An enjoyable dance lesson will be led by a professional instructor, to era-appropriate music provided by a DJ. Dancers clad in period costume will demonstrate the steps and engage with the audience. There will also be a delicious, free, afternoon tea!

The free launch will take place on Saturday the 7th of September, 2-5pm, in the accessible Aphra and Lumley buildings. Find a map here: https://www.kent.ac.uk/maps/canterbury/canterbury-campus/building/aphra-lumley-building/

Spaces are limited, with priority given to those who have attended our previous workshops and/or the Progress Day. Please email us on normma.network@gmail.com to express your interest.
