Pressure

This brilliant play is definitely one not to be missed.
This extraordinarily true, but little known, story explores the pressure of leadership and the responsibility of prophesy. The setting is Southwick House, just a few miles from Portsmouth. The date – June 1944. 350,000 men, 5,000 sea-going vessels and 2,000 aircraft are poised ready for the word ‘go’. The invasion of occupied France is ready to be launched. There are conflicting weather predictions within the Allied Forces meteorological team – who is right and what should the Commander in Chief, Dwight Eisenhower, believe?
