Photography Workshop

As an 80-acre site with more than 40 scheduled listed monuments and buildings, The Historic Dockyard Chatham is packed full of history and striking architecture.
The Historic Dockyard Chatham is packed full of history and striking architecture. Our Photography Workshops provide an opportunity to go behind the scenes and get under the skin of the Dockyard, all through a photographic lens.

Guided by professional photographer, Louise Hubbard, you will gain access to some of the restricted, behind the scenes areas of the Historic Dockyard, from Victorian buildings to Historic Warships. Subject to availability, areas will include the Cock Loft – a 1/4 mile open attic to the Ropery; the Spinning Room full of old spinning equipment, with lots of opportunity to photograph many unusual gadgets; and the Tarred Yarn Store with its unique white-washed wooden walls.

All levels of experience and knowledge of photography are welcomed and so is any type of camera.
