If you would like to join, you are invited to contact the secretary (info@doverchoralsociety.org.uk) and are welcome at any of our rehearsals which take place every Thursday evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at St. Mary’s Parish Centre, Dover (CT16 1BY). We always have a break during rehearsals so you will get to know everyone! Programmes contain a wide variety of choral works, both sacred and secular, using professional instrumentalists and soloists. Both major performances are held at various local church venues, typically on the penultimate Saturday of November, and one near the Easter period. Each summer we join with other local musicians to present the Dover Festival Proms Concert in support of local charities. Other musical and social events also take place throughout the year. We offer the first three rehearsals as a trial period to see if you enjoy singing.
