A shipload of sentimental pirates, a bevy of giggling maidens, a band of bumbling policemen and a British officer with a flair for hyperbole and patter - it must be Gilbert & Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance!

Twists and turns abound with ingenious characters, sublime lyrics and some of the best-known songs in opera, including 'I Am The Very Model of a Modern Major General'.

This new semi-staged Kentish Opera production features professional soloists and orchestra along with the superb Kentish Opera chorus. The cast and orchestra are conducted by Robyn Sevastos, directed by Stephen Brown with costumes designed by Carol Stevenson.
