BEEcome a Conservation Hero

Two new bee conservation workshops are taking place this summer at Hole Park Gardens in Rolvenden.
On Thursday 18 August there is a family workshop, and an adult workshop will take place on Thursday 8 September 2022.

The workshops are all about helping us to understand about the best way to help save our bees!

The event is in partnership with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust who have been at Hole Park this year carrying out a bee survey.

Our expert partners will also take you on a tour of the gardens to see the many species we are home to – including some of the most endangered bees! Both events are the perfect way to learn more about the types of bees that are found in our home county and will help us to identify the different species that will already be resident in your own garden. Get top tips about which flowers and plants you can grow at home to encourage the bees.

The entire family can enjoy fun activities and discover fascinating facts to help save the bees. Children can create a 'bee bomb' to take home
