Give it some welly this month with your little ones.

Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury, has launched a programme of guided welly walks on weekdays throughout March, which are included in the entry price of the park.

The Wild Welly Walks take place twice a day at 10.30am and 1.30pm and are packed with plenty of puddle splashing and muddy adventures, plus animal spotting with one of the park rangers, and fascinating animal facts.

Kevan Hodges from Howletts said: "The early spring weather is looking changeable throughout March, but as we all know, even when it’s raining, there’s still adventures to be enjoyed. The wild weekday welly walks, will be included in the price of day entry tickets, so grab your brollies, wellies and wet weather gear and get exploring."

Alongside the animal magic there's the chance to explore the Animals of the Ice Age where you can see a mighty mammoth, sabre toothed Smilodon and a giant sloth, all frozen in time.
