The Gin Society is bringing its festival to Kent for the first time.

There will be some 120 gins on offer at the gin experience when it comes to Canterbury in April.

There will be a tasting station where visitors can try new flavours, and a prosecco cocktail bar where you can choose from a range of prosecco cocktails featuring fruit flavoured gins.

There will also be live music at the two-day event, with DJs playing vintage sounds.

The festival comes to Westgate Hall on Friday, April 6 from 6pm and there will be two afternoon sessions on Saturday, April 7 at noon and again at 6pm.

Early bird tickets are on sale at £8.50. Tickets include entrance, a gin glass and gin booklet to guide you around the festival and pen.

It is the second gin festival to announce it is coming to the county for the first time. GinFestival.com will be at the Kent Event Centre on Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17.
