Andre Rieu: 70 Years Young to come to cinemas across Kent

World famous maestro André Rieu will be serenading you into the New Year as part of his own birthday celebrations.

Alongside his Johann Strauss Orchestra, the violinist will celebrate his 70th birthday with a one-off event which will be broadcast in cinemas across Kent.

The show, André Rieu: 70 Years Young, which will be screened on Saturday, January 4 and Sunday January 5, will feature a collection of his favourite performances from his live shows across the world, as well as reminiscing with presenter Charlotte Hawkins about his life and career.

Venues featured include Schönbrunn Vienna, Radio City Music Hall New York and the Coronation Concert in Amsterdam.

As part of the celebration, Andre will look back over his life, passions and music, and take his cinema audience on an exclusive tour of his Maastricht home.

The world-renowned violinist has sold more than 40 million records worldwide and more than 700,000 tickets each year. His annual July Maastricht cinema shows also break box office records.
