Comedian Milton Jones cancels tour dates, including Tunbridge Wells, after cancer diagnosis

Comedian Milton Jones has been forced to cancel several upcoming tour dates after revealing his recent cancer diagnosis.

The stand-up, who is currently in the middle of his latest tour, Hamilton, announced on social media that he would be cancelling or postponing multiple dates to ‘fully recover’ from surgery, including his upcoming show in Tunbridge Wells.

The 60-year-old was due to appear at the town’s Assembly Hall Theatre on Sunday, July 6.

However, this date, along with 12 other shows, has now been cancelled, with a further four shows being rescheduled to the autumn.

The comedian, who has appeared on Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo, shared his health update with fans, revealing that he has ‘treatable prostate cancer’.

Ticket holders will be contacted by their respective venue in regards to the cancelled tour dates.
