Comedian Maisie Adam is looking for some feedback in her latest show, Appraisal.
The stand-up star is celebrating five years working full-time on the circuit with a nationwide tour, including dates in Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury.
The new show sees 31-year-old Maisie look back at the highs and lows of her career, from being nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award to playing Soccer Aid the day after her wedding, and conduct her own performance review.
In 2017, the Yorkshire-born comedian won the So You Think You’re Funny competition after performing live for a year.
She has since appeared on TV shows such as Live at the Apollo, a League of Their Own, Have I Got News For You and the Last Leg.
An avid football fan, Maisie, who now lives in Brighton, was called up to take part in the annual charity match Soccer Aid in 2023 alongside celebrities and former professional players, including Gary Neville, Jill Scott, Tom Grennan, Usain Bolt and Alex Brooker.
She played again in the 2024 game at Stamford Bridge. The televised match, founded by Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes, has raised more than £100m for UNICEF UK since its inception in 2006.
Since 2023, Maisie has co-hosted the podcast Big Kick Energy alongside fellow comedian Suzi Ruffell.
The podcast was launched to coincide with the 2023 Women’s World Cup, and now follows the Women's Super League and other female sports. The show won Sports Podcast of the Year at the Broadcast Sport Awards in its first year.
