A food festival named one of the ‘coolest in the UK’ is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a huge programme of food, drink, music and activities.
The Kent Food Fest, which takes place at a 250-acre site in Knockholt, will bring together street food traders, craft beer and cocktail bars, and a local farmers' market for this year’s event.
Visitors can tuck into cuisine from all over the world and pick up a drink from a selection of pop-up bars serving everything from prosecco to non-alcoholic mocktails.
There’s also a farmers’ market with traders selling artisan produce, baked goods, locally grown fruit and vegetables and handmade treats.
While the focus is on the food and drink, the festival boasts a buzzing line-up of live entertainment throughout the day.
There will be a main stage with music from Amy Winehouse and Michael Jackson tribute acts, up-and-coming talent from BBC Introducing, and top DJs who will be spinning tunes in between live bands.
If you’re visiting with children, there will be a funfair and water rides and, when you need a moment to relax, you can head to the well-being village.
This particular area of the festival is all about relaxation, with treatments such as Indian head massages, yoga, reflexology and Reiki on offer. You can also try out some of the festival’s spiritual activities, including tarot readings, breathwork and drumming circles.
The Kent Food Fest is at King’s Valley in Knockholt, near Sevenoaks, on Saturday, May 17. You can book tickets here.
Adult tickets cost £28.76, child tickets cost £17.54 (including booking fees). You can also purchase a family ticket for two adults and two children. Under 5s go free.
