The date has been announced for one of the county’s biggest Christmas switch-on events.
Live entertainers will be lighting up the streets of Maidstone this November.
The event, which attracted thousands of visitors last year, will return for an evening of family-friendly shows and activities in Jubilee Square.
There will be mascots, characters and photo opportunities in the town centre from 4.30pm.
There will also be a main stage with live music, dancers and children’s entertainers right up until the big moment when the lights come to life just before 7pm.
The team from our very own kmfm will once again be partnering with One Maidstone to host the switch-on, so look out for Breakfast presenters Rob and Numi on the night.
The Maidstone Christmas lights switch on takes place on Thursday, November 20.
It’s all free to attend and you don’t need to book in advance.
