Two huge festivals are taking over a Kent park in a back-to-back double bill of music.
Maidstone’s Mote Park is throwing a bumper bank holiday celebration and it all starts with the annual tribute festival, Rock the Mote.
The three-day festival returns this year with a stacked line-up of impersonators playing the biggest rock, pop and heavy metal anthems.
The three outdoor stages will host tributes to Foo Fighters, Robbie Williams, the Rolling Stones, Oasis, Sabrina Carpenter, Phil Collins, Harry Styles, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Fall Out Boy, Taylor Swift, Spandau Ballet and more.
There’s also children’s entertainment, street food stalls and licensed bars. The music finishes at 9pm each night, but you can purchase a camping add-on that allows you to stay overnight in a tent or campervan.
Rock the Mote takes place from Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25. You can book tickets here.
It’s a quick turnaround because, as soon as one festival finishes, another begins – touring family festival Raver Tots is kicking off its summer stint with an all-dayer in Kent.
The event brings a wave of nostalgic dance, hip-hop and electronic artists, such as Romeo, Lisa Maffia and Dan Da Man (So Solid Crew), Artful Dodger, General Levy, Matt Jam Lamont, The Wideboys and more, to the stage.
The festival is a chance for adults to bring their kids along to a family-friendly rave with DJs, dancing and live entertainment.
There will also be funfair rides, inflatables, crafts, face painting, glitter art, food vendors and bars selling alcoholic and soft drinks.
Festival director Saoirse Holland said: “We’re so excited to be kicking off our 2025 festival tour in Kent. We’ve pulled out all the stops to create an incredible experience for families – packed with music, energy and fun.”
Raver Tots will be at Mote Park on Monday, May 26. You can book tickets here.
Adult tickets cost £30, child tickets cost £25 and tickets for babies under 12 months cost £5.
