HAIM to play Dreamland in Margate one week after the release of fourth studio album, I Quit

Just one week after releasing their fourth album, American girl group HAIM will be celebrating the new record with a huge open-air gig in Kent.

The band will be headlining Margate’s Dreamland as part of the Margate Summer Series, a string of outdoor concerts featuring artists such as Tom Jones, The Libertines, Sugababes and more.

The BRIT Award-winning group will unleash their latest album, I Quit, on Friday, June 20 via Polydor.

The trio of sisters will then perform their new material, as well as the biggest hits from their back catalogue, at the seaside venue on Friday, June 27. You can book tickets online here.

The band, from Los Angeles, are best known for singles such as The Wire and If I Could Change Your Mind.

Their first album, Days Are Gone, was released in 2013 and reached the No. 1 spot in the UK album charts.

Their 2020 album, Women in Music Pt. III, also topped the charts and their popularity in the UK has seen the pop-rock band play festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and, most recently, Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool.

The group, comprised of sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim, has been nominated for four Grammy Awards and three BRIT Awards, winning Best International Group in 2021.

HAIM’s one-off gig in Margate comes ahead of an arena tour in October, including a night at London’s O2 Arena.
