Leeds Castle Concert

It's one of the summer highlights and, although it had to be postponed this year, it will be back, bringing sun-kissed live music and some spectacular sights, on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Acts already booked include the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, with conductor and artistic director John Rigby, a Spitfire flypast and firework finale. Rock fans missed out on the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd when the 2020 festival had to be cancelled. But some acts have already been announced for the 2021 event, which runs from Friday, July 16 to Sunday, July 18, 2021, including prog rock giants Big Big Train, The Quireboys and American band Clutch. Chef Tom Kerridge managed to stage some socially distanced events in 2020, but his popular Pub in the Park had to wait until, hopefully, restrictions will have eased in the summer of 2021. His food and music event will be staged at Dunorlan Park, Tunbridge Wells from Friday, July 9 to Sunday, July 11, with line-ups expected to be broadly the same as was planned for this year. Black Deer Festival

The Americana music festival line-up for 2021, having missed 2020, boasts Robert Plant and The Waterboys, as well as an extra evening. Running from Friday, June 18 to Sunday, June 20 at Eridge Park near Tunbridge Wells, ticketholders will be allowed in to soak up the atmosphere from the Thursday afternoon. Kent County Show

The Kent County Agricultural Society, which supports the county’s farming and rural communities, wasn't able to hold the show this year, but it will be back from Friday, July 9 to Sunday, July 11, 2021. Tickets aren't yet on sale, but the society is encouraging people to become a member, which grants access to the show on all three days, and supports its work. One of the biggest is set to be the rescheduled return of Dreamland Margate Pride, which will see 90s girl band All Saints headline a colourful evening of entertainment for Pride on Saturday, August 14, with other special guests still to be announced.
