The cavalry are coming to next summer's Kent County Show.
World renowned mounted display team the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment will be the main ring attraction at the show, which will be held from Friday, July 6 to Sunday, July 8, 218.
The performance will showcase a display of the Regiment’s world class horsemanship which is steeped in tradition. Dressed in full state ceremonial uniform, they will show their precise battlefield and ceremonial manoeuvres carried out to music.
They join a Spitfire display, pig racing and ever popular crowd pleaser, Titan the Robot.
Kent County Agricultural Society chairman Kevin Attwood, said: "We are delighted to have the Household Cavalry at the Kent County Show in 2018. This will be our 89th Show and we work hard to showcase the very best that Kent has to offer.
"The Household Cavalry Musical Ride is one of the best mounted displays in Britain, if not the world, and the Regiment has a reputation for excellence. We are sure their display will delight and entertain our visitors on all three days of the show."
The popular show, which attracted around 80,000 people this summer for displays of livestock, heritage vehicles, and food, drink and produce from across the county, will feature some 400 exhibitors and 300 competitions and activities, and a display from the Spirit of Kent Spitfire, plus entertainment from a pair of Hedge Men.
Tickets to see the Household Cavalry Musical Ride in action at the Kent County Show will be from Friday, December 1 and is included in general admission. For details visit kentshowground.co.uk
