A colourful light display is set to brighten up the skies this January.
The annual Gravesham Light Festival returns for two days of vibrant illuminations, spectacular installations and live performances.
This year’s theme is Circus of Life which celebrates showmanship, acrobatics and rainbow colours with a series of free events across the town.
Venues such as St George’s Arts Centre, The Woodville and Gravesend Pier will be participating in this year’s festival with everything from trapeze artists to light-up igloos.
The event boasts a varied programme of live shows. There will be a circus act with fire eaters, hula hoopers and jugglers, bands playing on the pier and at the Hatch Market, bubbles and puppets parading through the streets, a silent disco party and a mesmerising laser show.
There will also be glittering art installations including the interactive Pocahontas the Elephant, a large floating ship and the sensory igloo tents.
The Gravesham Light Festival takes place on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25 at various locations. All events are free and take place between 5.30pm and 8.30pm.
