Combined Ops military vehicle and aircraft show this weekend at Headcorn Aerodrome

Military might will be flexing its muscles at a popular family event this weekend.

The Combined Ops Military Vehicle and Aircraft Show returns to Headcorn Aerodrome on Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8 for a 12th year.

Organisers the Invicta Military-Vehicle Preservation Society and Headcorn Aerodrome are committed to making it a weekend to remember.

There will be a variety of vintage and modern aircraft to watch over the weekend as well as more than 350 military vehicles, which is one of the largest collections of its kind, from the humble military motorcycle to main battle tanks.

Visitors can soak up history and watch it come alive with living history areas and re-enactment group displays plus tank rides and the chance to see some First and Second World War aircraft on static display.

Also taking place will be arena events, military stalls, children’s entertainment, and food stalls.

There are still some tickets available for the event at Headcorn Aerodrome, which runs from10am to 5pm both days.
