Sites reopening in Kent including the Hop Farm, Deal Castle and Quex Park

More of the county's popular family or historic attractions are reopening to the public.

While many have reopened with safety measures in place, some sites are just finally able to open their doors again after a long period of closure.

The Hop Farm Family Park at Beltring, Paddock Wood, which reopened last week.

There is a selection of children's rides and Hopper's Animal Farm will also be open. Visitors will need to pre-book online and visitor numbers will be reduced to allow for social distancing.

English Heritage also reopened Deal Castle to visitors last weekend.

Chiddingstone Castle, near Tonbridge, has also now reopened to visitors, with strict safety measures, and the tea room remains closed. There is a takeaway service at the front of the castle.

Quex Park in Birchington, which has a maze maize throughout the summer, has also reopened.

Leeds Castle near Maidstone is set to reopen on Monday, August 10, after the grounds and some other attractions on site opened to visitors last month.
