Moonlit Walk for the Heart of Kent Hospice this weekend sees walkers choose their route

A flagship fundraising walk for charity this weekend will be a special version, thanks to the pandemic.

Rather than a walk en-masse, this year's Heart of Kent Hospice Moonlit Walk , which raises thousands for the Aylesford -based hospice, will instead ask walkers to pick their own route and distance from 1K to 10K and carry it out on the day, Sunday, October 10.

Walkers should look out for their fellow Moonlit walkers in their special t-shirts along the way, to unite in a socially-distanced way, as they take part between 10am and 10pm.

A spokesman for the Aylesford-based hospice said: “We know that this beloved walk is as important to you as it is to us so we have created a special version of the Moonlit Walk for individuals or small groups to take part in.”

Registration that includes a t-shirt has now closed but you can still sign up to take part by emailing sarah.raine@hokh.co.uk.
