Contemporary crafts at the first Craft In Focus show at Hever Castle

Top quality contemporary crafts will all be under one roof at the first Craft In Focus show at Hever Castle.

Organisers already staged events in Surrey and in Essex but have added Hever to their calendar to bring some of the UK’s finest contemporary craftmakers and artists to the county.

Organiser Rob Chapman said: "We aim to deliver the most exciting craft event to be launched in Kent for decades. Exhibitors and visitors appreciate the fact that we keep our standards high and have stuck with our principles of only allowing work made by the exhibitor to be presented. This really sets us apart from many other events."

The event will be held in marquees in the 125-acre castle gardens.

There will also be artisan food exhibitors and live music alongside the crafts. While at the site, visitors can enjoy the other attractions, including the adventure playground, Water Maze and the 100-year-old Yew Maze.
