The first cheese-ilicious trip takes place on Saturday, April 22. You can book tickets online here.

The train ride includes a selection of cheeses, all provided by Tunbridge Wells’ very own Cheese Shop.

The samples include Winterdale Shaw from Winterdale Cheesemakers of Wrotham near Sevenoaks, Kentish Blue from Kingcott Dairy in Staplehurst, and Sussex Brie and Mayfield, both from Alsop and Walker in East Sussex.

The flavour profiles will range from a traditional cheddar-style to creamy brie and tangy blue cheese.

Customers on board the train will also be treated to caramelised onion marmalade, apricot and ginger chutney, olive oil and sea salt crackers, and your choice of complimentary drink.

Further dates are soon to be announced, and the cheese selection will be different with each train journey.

The first Kent Cheese Train will depart from Eridge station at 2.45pm. Tickets cost £35 per person.
