Bluewater Christmas events, including the Believe grotto, Winterland funfair and ice rink

For all those who believe in Christmas, Bluewater has a series of festive experiences for them from this weekend.

Believe, the shopping centre's Christmas grotto, opens on Friday, November 26 until Christmas Eve outside The Village.

Children will be welcomed into a mystical cavern where they’ll meet one of Santa’s trusted elves, McJingles and the magical talking reindeer, Norbert. They’ll have the chance to make reindeer food in prep for Christmas Eve and even enjoy a one-to-one with the man in red himself. Each child will also receive a gift and the opportunity for a photo.

The Believe experience will open from Friday, November 26 until Christmas Eve and is located outside The Village, near Zizzi’s restaurant. Tickets cost £14 per child and £5 per adult, plus booking fees.

Pre-book your tickets here.

There is also an outdoor, festive event where guests can enjoy winter-themed funfair rides, games, and attractions, Winterland.

The luminaire promenade will light the way into the festive fun and provide an Instagrammable backdrop.

There will be some exciting rides at Winterland, including the 40m Blizzard and No Limit, along with family favourites the bumper cars and waltzers!

Plus there will be warming food and drink to buy, such as a traditional German swing grill, as well as sweet treats such as crêpes and churros.

Winterland is open until Monday, January 3 and entry costs £3 per person, with tokens for rides and stalls available to buy. Book online here.

Also back this year is the outdoor, undercover ice rink with its clear roof.

There will be quiet sessions, as well as parent and toddler sessions for budding skaters. Penguin and seal skating aids will be available for little ones, as well as bob skates, plus live DJs playing classic party anthems.

The rink is open until Sunday, January 2, but is closed on Christmas Day. Tickets start at £14.50 for adults, and £12.50 for children. Book in advance here.

The Greenhithe centre also has its Giving Tree, supporting local disadvantaged children, for the eighth year from Thursday, November 25 to Wednesday, December 22.
