A Strictly couple are bringing true romance to the dancefloor with a show-stopping new tour.
Slovenian dance champion Aljaž Škorjanec and It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara are back on the road with A Night to Remember, taking their signature dance style and setting it to songs from the Great American Songbook and modern hits, all performed by a live big band.
The husband-and-wife duo are visiting theatres across the country, including a night in Canterbury, as part of the nationwide tour.
Aljaž, 35, was a dancer on Strictly from 2013 to 2021, winning with model Abbey Clancy, before returning to the show last year with Love Island contestant Tasha Ghouri.
Janette was part of the cast for eight years and, although she didn’t lift the glitterball trophy, she performed memorable routines with the likes of Jake Wood, Aston Merrygold, Ranj Singh and HRVY.
In 2021, Janette, now 41, took over the role of hosting Strictly’s sister show, It Takes Two, from former presenter Zoe Ball.
Off screen, the pair have been married for almost eight years and welcomed a daughter, Lyra, in 2023.

Speaking of the new tour, Aljaž said: As everybody knows from watching Strictly, you just can’t beat dancing in front of a live band. So, more than ever, we can’t wait to share our new show with our amazing fans all across the UK.”
Janette added: “It truly is going to be a memorable show, and we are so happy to have the phenomenal Tom Seals and his big band bringing their off-the-scale energy to the stage for us to dance to every night. It’s going to be amazing.”
Aljaž and Janette will bring A Night to Remember to the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury on Sunday, May 25. You can book tickets online here.
